If you're an engineer or engineering manager, you probably encounter a steady stream of documents at work such as design briefs, one-pagers, two-pagers, N-pagers, PRFAQs, PRDs, and so on.

Some of these require close study. Others fall into the "I'd like to read this later" category. These are the kind of documents you could absorb more passively in between tasks, while doing chores, cooking, or on your commute.

All of these docs can be converted to audio and consumed as podcasts.

In PodRead, just click "+ New Episode" and select "Paste Text." You can turn any document into audio and listen to it later from your favorite podcast app whenever it is convenient.

You can even take a highly technical document full of code snippets, charts, and diagrams, throw it into your preferred LLM chat with the prompt: "Please optimize this for text to speech." Or, "turn this technical document into a news briefing optimized for text to speech." Experiment with what style helps you absorb the information best.
