November 2024 bakery

I've become persuaded by the idea that we are the product on most social media apps. The thoughts and links that I would have shared on these hellsites, I now aggregate in a monthly post I call the "Bakery."

Some written thoughts, but not enough for their own post.

I've cancelled by OpenAI chatgpt subscription. This feels noteworthy because I've moved my personal AI use over to Anthropic's Claude, which I think is noticeably better. I currently do not subscribe to Anthropic pro, but I'm considering it.

I've also downloaded and tried out Winsurf, which is Codeium's AI IDE. I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet, and I'm not entirely sure I like it yet. It is a notable improvement over Github's copilot.

I've decided to not renew my domath.io domain. I haven't gotten a ton of interest, I haven't been actively working on the math game for a few months now. I don't have a plans to do more work on it anytime soon. Also my kids refuse to play it. Still, fun to build!
