How I Read Articles While Doing the Dishes

The other day my friend texted me an interview that their partner gave based on a book they wrote and that I enjoyed. At the time I was not ready to drop everything and read the 3,000-word interview.

I was in the midst of a totally calm, serene, instagrammable evening routine with my wife and twin children.

But I had a plan. I grabbed the hyperlink from the text message. I opened the web browser on my phone where I always have tts.verynormal.dev open in a tab. I pasted the URL, clicked "Create Episode", and a few minutes later a new episode showed up in my Very Normal TTS feed in my podcast app.

Later, while cleaning the kitchen, doing the dishes and taking out the garbage from dinner (also known as "me time"), I listened to the interview.
